Leelakant Pareek

Leelakant Pareek is a 76-year-old master Pichwai artist from Rajasthan who has dedicated his life to protecting and mastering this sacred art form of Nathdwara. Decades of practice show in his meticulous precision, exquisite detail and deep devotion. Alongside classic representations of Shrinathji, his one-of-a-kind Pichwai paintings are among the most prized pieces at Treasure of India. He was one of the nine master artisans in NAVRATNA: Indigenous Masters, the inaugural exhibition at Treasure of India Gallery, Gurugram, curated by Uma Nair. His artistic legacy continues through his son, also a professional artist.
