Are your products handmade?

Treasure of India focuses on handmade Indian art and traditional crafts. The product page identifies the available artist or maker and relevant details. Because handcrafted work is made individually, natural variations in colour, texture, line and finish can occur.

Who are the artists?

Our collection includes artists and artisan makers working across different Indian craft traditions. Where an artist profile is available, you can follow the artist link from the product or collection page to explore more of their work.

How long does delivery take?

Ready-to-ship orders are generally processed within 2 to 4 business days, followed by delivery that typically takes 5 to 10 business days in India. Made-to-order artworks can require 2 to 4 weeks of crafting time. Check the product page and checkout for the current information applicable to your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Treasure of India ships worldwide. International transit typically takes 10 to 21 business days after dispatch. Customs duties, import charges and local taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer.

How should I care for handmade art?

Keep paintings away from direct sunlight, moisture and excessive humidity. Dust metal, wood and other suitable surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners unless the product-specific care instructions say otherwise.

Can I return an artwork?

Standard returns and exchanges are not accepted for our handcrafted collection. If an item arrives damaged or defective, please follow the Returns & Refunds policy and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the requested photographs and other evidence.

Can I order a bespoke artwork?

For selected crafts, we can review requests for a particular subject, size or design. Visit our Bespoke Commissions page or contact us with your requirements.

Is payment secure?

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout. Review the checkout screen for the payment methods currently supported.
